This is a matte painting that I created for a Terminix commercial. The idea was to make a nuclear holocaust sort of city that only cockroaches could survive in. It was a really fun assignment, several of these sort of shot were created for the whole commercial by myself and co-worker Matt Longwell. This shot was the "hero" shot and was created by me. It took about 2 weeks to finish. I used Maya for the 3D layout and to project the matte painting for the camera move and the painting was created in Photoshop. I'd love for thoughts and comments and I'd be happy to answer any questions.
